Some area schools, including Nevada, are gearing up for basketball season.
The Nevada Blue Jays will begin play Oct. 16 with a Ouachita Jamboree. The team’s first home game will be Oct. 20 against Blevins with the senior teams and the junior girls playing. Tip off is set for 5:30 at Nevada. Oct. 30 is the Jay’s homecoming. Nevada will host Stephens with the junior boys and the senior teams playing. Tip off is set for 5:30.
