Fish fry scenes

The Prescott Lions Club showed its appreciation to those who work in emergency services by hosting a fish fry recently. The event was held in the Stokes Center at Central Baptist Church. The fare consisted of fish, fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, cookies and soft drinks.

EHC coffee

The various Extension Homemakers clubs in Nevada County gathered together to host a community coffee recently. All the snacks were homemade. Entertainment was also provided for those who attended.

Prom is a special time in the life of high school students. Unfortunately, after this year's prom, a student lost their life in an auto accident. Such things tend to tarnish an otherwise good time.

District meet

Athletes from across the area came to Prescott High School for the district track meet. Weather for the meet was perfect with sunny skies and warm temperatures, unlike the Merchant Relays, held a few weeks earlier, when it was wet, muddy and cold.

Prom scenes

Students from Prescott High School and their dates got all gussied up for the school's annual prom walk. Family members and friends gathered at the Prescott Sports Arena go shoot tons of photos and video of them both during and after the walk.
