James Michael “Mike” Williams, 59, of Caddo Valley, went to be with his Lord on Jan. 14, 2010.
He was born on Jan. 21, 1950, to Paul and the late Melba Williams in DeQueen. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Prescott and was employed by Diamond Offshore Corporation for over 30 Years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Betty; two sons, Keith and Pauline Williams of Prescott and Marc and Ann Williams of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Brittney, age 14, Parker, age 10, and Seth, expected to arrive on March 5; his father, Paul Williams of Mena; one brother, Kenneth Williams and wife Andre’ of Berryville and one niece, Rena “Hoby” McCloud of Springdale.
The funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19 at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia, with Rev. James Calhoun officiating. Visitation was Monday, Jan. 18, from 7-8 p.m. at the same location. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
