James F. Snell, 61, of Prescott, passed away Feb. 7, 2010, in Prescott.
James was born Feb. 9, 1948 in Hope, to James C. and Ora Dougan Snell. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, James C. Snell.
Mr. Snell’s survivors include one son, Jason Snell and Tonya of Baghdad, Ariz.; one daughter, Melissa Agnew and Robert of Emmet; his mother, Ora Dougan Snell of Hope; two sisters, Nelda Nivens and Leon of Prescott and Mary Gaines and Mike of Hope; three grandchildren, Zachary Agnew, Joshua Agnew and Elizabeth Agnew.
Visitation was Wednesday, Feb. 10, between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home of Hope.
The funeral service was held Thursday, Feb. 11, at 12 p.m. in the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Christian and Bro. Mike Steed officiating. The interment was in Snell Cemetery in Emmet.
