Mrs. A. Louise Crayne, 82, of Prescott, passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott.

She was born Dec. 14, 1927, in Nevada County to Lon and Emma Crank Holder. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, William Andrew “Andy” Crayne; one brother, Jack Holder; and four sisters, Ohal Hendrix, Ruth Newth, Gladys Andrews and Helen Buie.

She is survived by two sons, Charles R. Crayne of Hope and Jackie G. Crayne of Springdale; two sisters, Faye House of Little Rock and Lillian Crane of Prescott; three grandchildren, Capt. Robert Bradley Crayne of Del Rio, Texas, Lindsey Crayne of Texarkana and Jacob Crayne of Springdale; three great-grandchildren, Jayce, Lakyn and Conly Crayne, all of Del Rio, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The graveside services were Sunday, Dec. 20, at Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton with burial following. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.

The family received friends Saturday, Dec. 19, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
