Area groups plan luncheons

There will be a salad luncheon to benefit the Single Parent scholarship fund, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. The cost per salad is $6.
 

Project Graduation is having a salad luncheon on Nov. 12, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott.  Tickets are $5 each and are available at the Nevada County Picayune Office or the Nevada County Extension Office. Call Lisa at 887-2002 or 703-3917 for information.
 

Prescott Tri-Service Club will host a fall box luncheon featuring a tortilla soup and club sandwich box lunch on Monday Nov. 23 at the Prescott First United Methodist Church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tickets are on sale and may be obtained from all Tri-Service members, the Bank of Prescott and the Farm and Garden Store. Delivery is available for orders of six or more. Proceeds go to support local organizations and activities.
