Photos

At right, Brother Perry Johnson and friend Raymond Fitzhughpaint the helicopter landing pad at the old Nevada County hospital. Johnson said that his term as a member of the Nevada County Leadership hooked him on doing community projects. “It’s something that just needs to be done,” he said. The hospital is no longer in use but the landing pad is utilized regularly for emergency medical flights. The city of Prescott and the Nevada County Ambulance donated the paint. The two men donated their labor.
