Parents, open house was on Monday, August 17; if you did not attend you need to obtain and complete the necessary student forms at McRae Middle School.
As you prepare for the new school year, the following suggestions may be helpful.
* Save money on supplies and clothes by shopping locally and taking advantage of sales. There are seasonal sales and summer clothes are likely to be reduced along with back to school supplies.
* Start the school year by making sure your children get a good night sleep and that they eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school.
* Upon their return home, discuss the school day with them by asking what they learned that day and what homework assignments were made.
* Remember to ask your children’s teachers for assistance when needed: the teachers at McRae are here to assist you with helping your children make academic gains.
Parents, secure a head start for your Curley Cubs by helping them enter the new school year poised for academic success.
