The City of Prescott will host a series of public hearings at various locations next week regarding potential outdoor park and recreation needs and priorities.
The City of Prescott will host a series of public hearings at various locations next week regarding potential outdoor park and recreation needs and priorities. Meeting sites include:
• Prescott City Hall, 118 West Elm St. on Tuesday June 12 at 2 p.m.
• Munn’s Chapel Church Life Center, 1017 Moncrief, Prescott at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 14
• Prescott Senior Center, 419 E. Main St., Prescott at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 14
• Nevada County Recycle Center, 314 East 2nd St., Prescott at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 14
According to the City of Prescott’s announcement, Prescott officials will be selecting those priorities to be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism for a Matching Grant Application.
Ethnic minorities, persons with special needs, elderly persons over 55, and special interest groups are encouraged to attend and participate.
