Prescott Lady Wolves top three basketball players known as the "Big 3" Lacie Nolen, Haleigh Wiley and Anna Byers are finished their careers as seniors with top honors on the hardwood for 2017-18.

Prescott Lady Wolves top three basketball players known as the "Big 3" Lacie Nolen, Haleigh Wiley and Anna Byers are finished their careers as seniors with top honors on the hardwood for 2017-18.
Nolen, was the team's leading scorer, followed by Wiley and Byers who provided a major lift of production for the Lady Wolves this past basketball season.
Nolen posted in several 20 plus point games with a few 30 point games including a couple of game winning shots. Wiley and Byers both contributed well in numerous double-digits games with Byers and Nolen leading the team with hot shooting behind the arc with three-pointers made this season.
Prescott senior high girls head basketball coach B.J. Rogers was proud of the team's effort and play all season long. Following the Lady Wolves loss at state, Rogers said, "I'm very proud of our seniors. They came into this season with a winning mentality for their senior year. We didn't finish the way we wanted, but I'm very proud of how strong they way they brought it this season," Rogers said.
"75 to 80 percent of our scoring is gone for next year and girls will have to step up. There will be a lot of opportunity next season and look for a competitive offseason. Our juniors will bring it everyday and they're great kids. We will be about business and our effort will keep us in a lot of of ball games," Rogers said.
The Lady Wolves finished the season 19-13 overall, 9-5 in conference. The Lady Wolves captured the 2017 OBU Tournament title, went 2-1 in tourney play hosted by Lake Hamilton, finished second in conference, runner-up at district tournament and fourth at regionals as a state tournament qualifier for a consecutive season.
