With the victories, the Curley Wolves clinch the No. 2 seed heading into the district tournament this week under head coach Beau Brickell. The Curley Wolves have some winning momentum entering into the district tournament as they clinch a spot for the regional tournament, looking to charge their way into the Class 3A state tournament.
CURLEY WOLVES 65, HORATIO 34
The Curley Wolves shot out an early 33-9 halftime advantage, then outscored the Lions 32-25 for second half scoring for third and fourth quarters combine. The win secured the Wolves an 31-point victory that give them much needed momentum heading into the district tournament.
For the game, Curley Wolves' Ryan Johnson led scoring with 14 points and Quontravious Caldwell added 10 points for double-figures. Larry Peters, Javell Page and Courtland Mixon each had six points apiece. C.J. Hill contributed five points, Kylin Haynie, Jordan Glass and Derriun Thompson each had four points apiece, Tyler Doucet finished with three points and Trey Rucker with two points. James Barham rounded out the scoring chipping in one point from the charity stripe.

The Curley Wolves had no problem pulling away victorious on the road against the Cossatot River Eagles 56-34 to sweep the series match-up in conference play. Curley Wolves' Derriun Thompson led scoring with a game-high 18 points for double-figures. Javel Page and Courtland Mixon each added nine points apiece.
