The Nevada Lady Jays have found their path of winning to secure big victories on the hardwood last week defeating Emerson Lady Pirates 60-28 and returning home to top the Taylor Lady Tigers 48-24 on Homecoming night at Nevada High School Gymnasium in Rosston.

The Lady Jays have overcame adversity from their early season struggles during the first half of the season schedule, but have turned things around and progressing productively into the winning trail in recent competitions.
The Lady Jays continue their hot streak of victories at home after returning to action last Friday night topping the Bradley Lady Bears 53-39. The victory put the Lady Jays at .500 overall. Following their tough tourney loss, the Lady Jays have regrouped to post victory to return to regular season schedule action.
In more previous home battles, the Lady Jays defeated Parkers Chapel and Strong to sweep their season series match-up for the 2017-18 year of basketball.
As a result, the Lady Jays are plus .500 with a 11-9 overall record under head coach Kevan Moore. The Lady Jays will look to wrap up their series meeting this week facing Bradley and Taylor to post their longest winning-streak of the season going into the tournament mode for district hosted at Ouachita High School in Donaldson.
