The Nevada Jr. Blue Jays continue to make some impressive noise on the hardwood after another dominant victory hosting Oucahita Jr. Warriors 52-25 in junior high boys hoops action last Tuesday night on Halloween at Nevada High School Gymnasium.

The Jr. Blue Jays coasted to a 29-6 lead over Ouachita to end first quarter action. Javontae Pearson, Trevon Gulley, Dontavious Watts, Treyvon Turner, Jared Todd, Keyshawn Harris, Marvion Daniels and Braden Bennett all contributed to scoring for Nevada in first quarter play.
In the second, the Blue Jays added 10 points and held Ouachita to eight points scored. At halftime, Nevada took an 39-14 advantage into the locker room over the Jr. Warriors.
In the third quarter, the Jr. Blue Jays kept their lead intact with Ouachita held to five points scored. Ethan Burns swished a trifecta from behind the arc at the buzzer to extend Nevada's lead 45-19 at the end of third period action.
In the fourth, the Jr. Blue Jays added seven points with Jalen Lowe, Jeremiah Blakely, TaQualen Johnson and Burns all contributing to scoring and the Jr. Warriors allowed six points scored in the quarter. Nevada rolled onto an 27 point victory to remain undefeated.
For the game, Watts led scoring with seven points, Trevon Gulley followed with six points, Blakely, Burns and Harris each scored five points apiece. Pearson and Daniels each scored four points apiece, Bennett and Ocatavier Standoak each had three points apiece, Lowe, Johnson, Turner, LaQualion Dismuke-Christopher and Todd each contributed two points apiece.
