The Prescott Lady Wolves continued their hard play on the diamond in a couple of intense battles against the Horatio Lady Lions and the Centerpoint Lady Knights in softball action.

The Prescott Lady Wolves continued their hard play on the diamond in a couple of intense battles against the Horatio Lady Lions and the Centerpoint Lady Knights in softball action. The Lady Wolves fought hard in both contests, but fell in defeat to Horatio and Centerpoint. This week, the Lady Wolves will be set to match-up against Cossatot River, Horatio and Genoa Central in softball battles on the diamond.

HORATIO GAME
Prescott Lady Wolves kept themselves in the game early, but fell short to rally in defeat to the Horatio Lady Lions 15-3. Horatio scored on a double, a single and a groundout in the first inning.
Horatio took an early lead in the first inning with one out driving in one run off a double.
Horatio scored seven runs in the fifth inning that was displayed by a home run, a single and a groundout  
Lady Wolves' Jamia Smith, Madison Walley, Kaleigh Spencer, Lacie Nolen, Kori Collier, and Haleigh Wiley each managed one hit to lead the Prescott Lady Wolves against Horatio.
The Lady Lions collected 14 hits in the game with 15 runs scored. Smith collected two RBI's with Walley recording one RBI. Spencer, Collier and Walley each scored a run apiece for the Lady Wolves. At the pitcher's circle, Smith pitched five innings, struck out one batter and threw 61 strikes.

CENTERPOINT GAME
Wednesday was a long day for Prescott Lady Wolves as they fell to Centerpoint 12-1.
Centerpoint took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Jada Vavra doubled off of Jamia Smith, driving in two runs.
Centerpoint scored six runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Centerpoint came thanks to a single by Emmery Boyd, a error, a groundout by Lexi Diggs, a double by Madison Fox, and a wild pitch.
Smith, Madison Walley, Abby Martin, and Kaleigh Spencer each managed one hit to lead Prescott Lady Wolves Varsity.
Centerpoint collected ten hits. Vavra, Fox, and Boyd each collected multiple hits for Centerpoint. Boyd went 2-for-4 at the plate as she led the team with three runs batted in.
At the plate, Abby Martin, Kaleigh Spencer, Walley and Smith all had a hit with an RBI by Lacie Nolen. Walley and Martin both collected doubles at bat. Walley recorded the lone run for the Lady Wolves.
Smith pitched from the pitcher's circle, struck out three batters, threw 55 strikes in five innings of work.
