The summer season in Arkadelphia would not be the same without the Arkadelphia Aquatic Park.
The park is scheduled to open this Saturday for the summer season as a means of recreation for local and area citizens.
Regular hours of operation are 1–8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1–5 p.m. on Sunday. The pool will be open from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for Family Fun hours on Saturdays.
According to the aquatic park, family is defined as two or more persons related through blood, marriage or legal adoption or unrelated persons who jointly occupy and have equal access to all areas of a dwelling unit and who function together as an integrated economic unit. Children must be accompanied by adults during this time period.
According to staff at the Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation Center, the price for daily admission is $6 per person. A coupon pass, which allows 10 visits to the park, is available for $50. A family of four can receive passes for $200. The price increases to $25 for each additional family member.
Individuals, groups, and churches who would like to use the park for pool parties can do so for $35 per hour during normal hours of operation.
Full parties are available for $350 for two hours. The price increases to $175 for each additional hour.
