Cale Fire Dept. plans Fish Fry
The Cale City Council and the Cale Fire Department will sponsor a fish fry on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 4:30 p.m. Donations will be used by the fire department and everyone is encouraged to attend this important fundraiser. Donations will be accepted at the door.

There will be a ribbon cutting for Southern Cross, Sept. 23, from 9:30-11 a.m.
Trash day
Nevada County trash day will be Sept. 26 at 8 a.m. at the Firestone parking lot.
Ribbon cutting and open house
Everyone is invited to a ribbon cutting and open house Friday, Sept. 11, from 4-6 p.m., to help celebrate the grand opening of a new law office, Stayton and Associates, at 405 E. 3rd St. S. the ribbon cutting will be at 4 p.m.
