Christmas Tour of Homes
The Artesain Arts League will host its annual Christmas Tour of Homes on Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Cost of tickets will be $10 and includes refreshments. Be sure and mark your calendars for this special holiday event.
Farm bill meeting
Farm Service Agency in partnership with Arkansas Farm Bureau, Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, Arkansas State Department of Agriculture, and University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Small Farm Program Division, is conducting public meetings to inform farm producers and agri-related business persons of the new provisions of the 2008 Farm Bill.
The meeting will held Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Hope at the University of Arkansas Experiment Station. Contact information is 777-8800, ext. 2.

For holiday
The Prescott/Nevada County Library will close at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The library will re-open on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 9:30 a.m. Add the library to your “thankful for” list.
Christmas pictures
taken at Head Start
Prescott Head Start is taking Christmas pictures on Dec. 3, starting at 8 a.m. The photographer will be available for the public at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to come and have your Christmas pictures taken. The pictures will be back before school is out for Christmas break.
Cook books from school
Project Graduation is still selling cookbooks. They are on sale for $10. They will be here in time for Christmas. There are about 200 receipts in the cookbook. Contact Karen McLelland at 887-2688, Susie Key at 887-2717 or Carol Newton at 887-2101 to place an order.
