Prescott's Curley Cubs are gearing up for their 2011 season on the gridiron.
The ninth grade Cubs have both size and speed and should be a force to be reckoned with. The squads receivers will give opposing secondaries all they want and more, as, in practice at least, they've shown excellent receiving skills.
The eighth grade team is a bit small, but will be scrappy and will also give the Curley Cubs a foundation for the ninth grade team next year when this year's freshmen move up and become members of the Curley Wolves.
