The 7 and 8-year-old Prescott All Stars captured the state title of Dixie League State Champs after beating the Hope All Stars team. The team now moves on to the Dixie League World Series to be played in Pineville, La. The team is set to arrive in Pineville on July 29 and their first round of play will begin on July 30 when they take on Florida.
The team members, coaches and parents are all working to raise money to make this trip. There will be a lemonade stand at the Bank of Prescott on Friday July 22 and a car wash held at O'Reilly's in Hope on July 23. There is an account set up at the Bank of Prescott for anyone who would like to make a donation.
