Two local residents and a Prescott man have been arrested by Hope police in connection with two residential break-ins, one of which remains an on-going investigation. Hope Police Assistant Chief Kim Tomlin said Monday that Bobby Walston, Jr., 44, of Hope, Kenneth Alexander, 22, of Hope, and Kordero Penigar, 21, of Prescott, have been arrested and charged with residential burglary and theft of property. “All three arrests were the result of an on-going investigation into a residential burglary and theft from a residence in the 500 block of Caney Creek Circle that was reported on October 23, 2103,” Tomlin said. “Our investigation is now complete in this one.” Tomlin said household items and a television were reporte stolen from the Caney Creek Circle residence. She said Penigar has also been charged with breaking and entering and theft of property from a residence in the 300 block of North Pine Street. “This incident was reported on November 13, 2013; it was a house that was being remodeled,” Tomlin said. “There may be some additional arrests from what I read in the reports.” She said the residence was not occupied at the time, and copper wiring was reported missing as a result of the break-in.
