  • Employee support for the educational scholarship foundation at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope continues to grow, as UACCH Chancellor Chris Thomason has announced 89 percent participation in the UACCH Bridge Builders program by college faculty and staff. The growth in participation brings the current year's cumulative pledges of scholarship support to $12,000, Thomason said. “It is great to be a part of the UACCH family and have so many who believe in the College’s mission of helping students that they make personal contributions to the UACCH Foundation as Bridge Builders,” he said. “By faculty and staff donating to the Bridge Builders fund, the program serves as another example of that exemplary student focus we have at UACCH. It truly is our desire to see our students succeed.” Payroll deductions in each pay period support to pledges from employees, with three scholarships funded and awarded in the fall semester now bolstered by three scholarships in the spring semester, according to Thomason. UACCH employee participants in the program at Bridge Builder Chair level giving are presented with a UA red monogrammed Bridge Builder Stadium Chair in recognition of their continuing support to the foundation scholarship program, he said. Anyone interested in becoming a UACCH Bridge Builder through a sustained scholarship contribution program should contact the UACCH Office of Institutional Advancement by visiting www.uacch.edu online or calling 870-777-5772
