A fiery crash early Saturday morning on I-30 in Miller County injured a Prescott woman and took the lives of a family traveling from Houston, Texas. The accident happened at the 12-mile marker between Fulton and Mandeville. Charlotte Williams, 52, of Houston, was the driver of a 2014 Kia Sorento, traveling eastbound on I-30. According to an Arkansas State Police report, traffic was stopped on I-30 Eastbound due to a separate accident. Vehicle 1, which was a 2007 Peterbilt, was driven by Johnathan Woodell, 22 years of age, who was not injured. Woodell allegedly failed to stop and collided with Vehicle 2, which was driven by Charlotte Williams. Vehicle 2 then collided with Vehicle 3, a 1999 Chevy Malibu, which was driven by Edna Martinez, 19, of Prescott. As a result of the impact, Vehicle 2, the Kia, caught on fire. The occupants of the Sorento were pronounced deceased on scene by Coroner Eddie Hawkins. Martinez was taken to Christus St. Michael's in Texarkana, according to the report. Also killed in the accident were Williams' husband, Lumvouris Webb, 43, of Houston, and the couple's son, Q'xnstian Marcell Webb, who was seven years of age. Road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident. Trooper John Talley worked the accident and the bodies were sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab, according to the preliminary report by the ASP.
